Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

Fast-food restaurants like Pizza Hut are not recommended to dine-in if you are diagnosed with high blood pressure. High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Pretty delicious pizza in one of the last places I'd expect to find it: a few blocks from the beach in Delray. They offer an incredible variety of pizzas, with standards like vegetable and buffalo chicken to the more arcane "spicy pigs" (sausages, banana peppers) and a four-cheese pizza that features bleu cheese. They serve large square slices which they cut into four pieces; one slice is enough for me (not true anywhere else). A little pricy, but considering how much food you get and the toppings, I think it's worth it. This place is also great for people watching, because the clientele hails mostly from Long Island and New Jersey, and, well, it's what you'd expect. Family freak-outs, drunken frat guys, etc. Hey and it's next door to a Ben & Jerry's!

  • Paul F.

Great to be able to grab a slice of square pizza with whatever topping you want while only being a block away from the beach. Little hot sitting outside from June to Oct, but Nov to May is a little SLICE of heaven. And the pizza is a nice perk. Thx for all you do Pizza Rustica.

  • Roberta H.

    really good pizza and Guaraná!

    (5)
  • Chipper S.

Totally overrated. Not bad but nothing to die for. I really miss Pizzeria Bianco in Phoenix, AZ after eating at this place.

    (2)
  • Elizabeth H.

Not too shabby. Open late for after bar munching. If other places are open, I would try Anthony's (on Federal) or Peace of Pizza (on Yamato) before going to Rustica. Thick, crunchy crust. OK variety, but if you are fan of NYC style pizza (like me), Pizza Rustica might be a bit of a let down.

    (2)
  • Max C.

The pizza wasn't special but they did have some unique toppings for people that are into that sort of thing. The prices were decent and they had a friendly cashier, which is an endangered species in Florida.

    (3)
  • Corey C.

this isn't gourmet pizza or anything, but it's great late night pizza after leaving the bars on atlantic ave. they have a bunch of different pies to choose from.

    (3)
  • Jesse R.

Great pizza place in Del Ray, right on Atlantic Ave. a few blocks from the beach. My girlfriend and I had the Provencal and Tomato Basil, both tasty veggie slices. All the slices are loaded with ingredients and are square-shaped, FYI, so you'd be wise to eat with a knife and fork (provided). Enjoy!

    (4)
  • Donna M.

Good pizza is hard to find in South Florida and this place is really delicious. They offer a unique selection of toppings and the pizza slices are squared shape so they are pretty large and very filling. If you have room for dessert, try the Chocolate pizza. They warm it in the oven and the chocolate just melts in your mouth. It's incredible!

    (4)
  • Janet A.

Great pizza and service! We were a group of 5 and we all ordered something different. I had a bite of the BBQ chicken, Margherita and Meatball pizza. All 3 were delicious! Cheese melted to perfection, the crust was crispy and not too thick. Someone in my party ordered the Cajun Shrimp pizza but didn't want to share. I'm guessing it was delicious as well. The only thing that we were disappointed in was the lack of professionalism the owner of this establishment displayed in front of customers. He was speaking to an employee in such a rude and condescending manner all why patrons were in the restaurant. I can only imagine how he speaks to them when no one is around. That is the only reason why I did not give this restaurant 5 stars. Otherwise, 5 stars for the service and food. By the way, to the employees of this location, you guys rock! Iapplaud you all for putting up with such an a-hole of a boss.

  • Grateful R.

Awesome pizza, large selection of toppings, and open late to fulfill you late night munchies.

    (4)
  • Marilyn C.

I only had delivery there but the pizza is good and it's better than Rotelli's. The pizza is very good quality so I suggest this place big time and everytime I call the staff is always nice.

    (4)
  • Tracey S.

Meh - is about all I can say about this place. The pizza is all premade (I couldn't tell how far in advance) and then "warmed" up in the oven. Barely. Yuck. I had the Rustica with artichokes, olives & tomatoes, and it was underwhelming. I should have gone to the Mellow Mushroom. I guess it would probably taste better after bar-hopping, but as for regular dinner hours pre-boozing, go elsewhere.

    (2)
  • Kenneth H.

I totally love this place. Granted I go more often than not at 2am, but it is great pizza anytime of the day. And compared to the garbage you can get late night, this place is hands-down the best in Boca-Delray area. The staff are friendly and cool. The atmosphere is fun. All that is missing is the booze, but they do fine without it.

    (5)
  • Scott A.

This is the best pizza that I have had in South Florida. They give you a large variety to choose from and the biggest and most important part is that they deliver till 2am on the weekends. Great place to go after drinking. If you get the pizza by the slice at the restaurant it is not cheap but the pieces are huge so it makes up for it. I have not had luck with good pizza down in Florida so this place was a godsend to find.

    (4)
  • Steve S.

i usually prefer going to traditional style pizzeria joints for my slices, but somehow this spot manages to do it right. they serve up many different toppings on large squares with a nice thick crust. the chicken parm and new york meatball are my favorites. the 4 pigs is good too, but can be a little greasy sometimes. this place always satisfies my pizza craving.

    (4)
  • Gary S.

Pizza is good for Florida and you can buy it by the slice. Many varieties to choose from. Parking sucks and you can never get a seat. Lots of beach customers and usually hot inside. Pizza is an 8. Place is a 4. I give 3 stars. You can also use worstpizza.com/category/… as a good source for pizza. (I said source not sauce)

    (3)
  • Joshua S.

Large supreme pie with a dash of a parmesan cheese and garlic salt from rustica may be one of the best kept secrets in the pizza world. You would think this place was a nightclub with how many people cram themselves into the pizzeria late on a friday or saturday night on the ave.

    (5)
  • Kevin N.

This pizza is very good. The slices are, I think, $4.50/ea. but they are seriously huge. I guess it is Roman style, although many of the slices seemed a bit more Sicilian style to me. I could be mistaken on the difference. I did not see any pizza with a fried egg on top, which you can find in Roma, but would Americans eat that anyway? Nice place not far from the beach and other stuff to do in Delray. One slice is definitely enough to split between two, unless you're stopping by for dinner. The staff was very friendly, if a bit disorganized (I think they were training someone new).

    (4)
  • Ben H.

Surprisingly good pizza served by friendly folks. Okay, so it's not New York or Boston or even New Haven, but for this part of the country it's about as good as it gets. They have 26 varieties on the menu, and like many places in New York you walk in to find most lined up behind the counter recently out of the oven and you can choose one or more slices which they pop in the oven so that it comes out fresh and crisp and gooey like pizza should. A "slice" is really a 6 1/2 x 8 in. mini pie which can be a meal in itself for just $5. The crust is thinnish, with the right combination of crunch and chewiness and full of fresh yeasty taste. The cheeses and other toppings are flavorful and of high quality, not at all like standard bland pizza fare. Lots of healthy choices if you're so inclined, including whole wheat crust and a variety of veggies. Save room for the chocolate pizza, hazelnut chocolate layered between a crunchy cake-like crust with more spread on top - sounded incongruous but was delicious. All-in-all a big thumbs up!

  • Lindsay C.

Great pizza. Delivers locally, open late. Some of my favorite slices would include: NY Steak, Chicken Parm or just pepperoni. Defiantly a go-to late night.

    (4)
  • Chris O.

I live in New York CIty and this is hands down the best pizza I've ever had. The toppings are varied and delicious. If you like hot sauce, ask for it. They make their own hot sauce and it's the best hot sauce I've ever had. This place is incredible. It's also open late. Yes, I said late, as in 2:30am late. Amazing considering south Florida standards. This place is THE reason to visit downtown Delray. When I visit from out of town, the first thing I crave is a slice from Pizza Rustica. It's that good.

    (5)
  • ElizaBeth W.

After a night out and about in Delray, I drunkenly got pizza here late one night. I have no recollection of how it was, but my boyfriend swears that the entire time I would not shut up about how absolutely awesome it was. So, according to him, I love this place! I can't wait to go back and eat some pizza when I haven't been drinking.

    (4)
  • Kim D.

Food was excellent, but the service left a lot to be desired. They skipped over my party 2x's before I said something.

    (4)
  • Charles J.

Excellent New York pizza. They have pre-cooked slices avaiable to reheat, but we ordered thin crust pizza. It was great. Took home a couple of slices. They were just as good the next day

My family decided to fly down to FL Thanksgiving day to see some family. We had an early Thanksgiving dinner (more like lunch) and we were hungry when we landed. We drove down Atlantic looking for something to eat. We didn't really think anything was gonna be open and lo and behold, Pizza Rustica. The place actually had some other people in it and after we ordered another large family came in to eat. Their selection is awesome, about 15 different slices are out on the counter. All are sicilian slices. My brother and I shared a meat lovers and a chicken cutlet slice. Both slices were excellent. The crusts were very crunchy and the middle was so soft. Sauce and topping were great as well. This is the best pizza I have had in FL.

    (5)
  • Karina A.

the pizza here is VERY good and the location is awesome (just west of A1A and Atlantic).

  • Glo B.

I am in love with this place, so much so I had to buy The shirt! After 3 visits I have yet to sample all the different pizzas The slices are huge and the toppings are plenty for Meat Lovers my fave is "Chicken Florentine" Veggie style my fave so far is "Pizza con Funghi" and Cheese style is the "Formaggi" For dessert they offer a "Chocolate Pizza" I think in all there are 20 varieties...A must when In Delray. My only complaint is parking.

    (5)
  • Shawn H.

Excellent pizza crust. Crisp bottom light and fluffy above that. Very good variety of toppings, plenty of really good suggestions. My family will miss not having this back home.

    (5)
  • Joe G.

Its located on Atlantic Ave a.sbort walk to the beach. Slices are not cheap but they are easily big enough for two. If you enjoy thick crust pizza this is a must try.

    (3)
  • Michael T.

Pizza is usally great, but guys behind counter are to busy trying to impress the women customers girls than service. If you want to be ignored and wait a long time to constiently repeat your order for a great slice of pizza, this is you place.

    (2)
  • Tereza B.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The pizza took over an hour , I wanted the thick crust they are known for ( I didn't specify ) they didn't ask , they brought the nastiest thin pizza ever. See pics . 21$ for a med bc they also charge 2$ extra to deliver 3 miles away. I am literally writing this as I sit in front of this cold nasty pizza . Two thumbs down.

    (1)
  • Neil S.

Fresh cooked pizza or select already made from the counter and they heat it up in the oven. We had one made from scratch and it was great. Staff really friendly. Seemed like everyone knew everyone. Loud dance music but they turned it down when asked. We started out alone at about 7 but by 8 they had people eating inside and out. Definitely would go back.

    (5)
  • Hugo B.

A really mediocre square pizza that's more like a thick flatbread than a real pizza. The crust is extremely bready, not crispy on the bottom and fluffy and elastic in the middle, like it's supposed to be. The sauce is practically dried out. Service was decent and they have a variety of options, including whole wheat crust, so one extra star for that. They'll survive on the tourists coming on and off the beach. Sorry, Pizza Rustica. As your neighbor, I wanted to like you but you're no good!

    (2)
  • Mike P.

Best pizza in town! Not your typical NY style pizza but different flavors for everyone. Their arugula salad on the pizza is so good we eat the salad by itself and give the pizza to the kids. Wife and I love the blue cheese pizza but there are so many great choices. It's a regular stop on the way to the beach every time. Fyi- always cute girls behind the counter.

  • Emily C.

Got order in my hotel, salad and gluten free pizza! I loved it! The best and the fastest restaurant service I've had. Thank you for making my delicious and heathy dinner!

  • Brenna R.

A solid choice for pizza in Delray. Also one of the pizza joints that you can count on being open super late (like 2am on the weekend late). Crust is crispy in the original, nice and thick if you get the sheet choice. The sauce is great, not too sweet, not too tangy. Everything is fresh and the ingredients have always been top notch. Their Hawaiian (something I don't typically order/prefer) is super delicious with the addition of freshly chopped tomatoes. Staff is friendly and will get your order right, even when they are swamped. You can also run in and grab a quick slice of one of the many uniquely yummy specialty pies.

We are in town for my grandfather's funeral and the owner and his employees took care of us when we invaded there shop. Thank you and also great pizza

  • Robert J.

Simply the best pizza in the United States hands down! I travel often on business and came across Pizza Rustica about 10 years ago and fell in love. There are many choices for all tastes from complete veggie pizza to specialty cheeses, meat, combination, margarita and some of the normal types of pizza. The ingredients are fresh, the pizza crust is thick with a unique flavor and they are open LATE for the Boca Raton/Delray Beach area. The slices are HUGE, prepared and displayed until you select one then they are instantly baked in the large ovens so it's hot, fresh and delicious. There are a few small tables inside and a few tables outside without much room so I usually take pizza to-go. The decorations are not upscale but the pizza is amazing so get past the basic look of the location and try all the variations of pizza they offer!

  • Nina Q.

A tasty bite of pizza over the bridge in Delray. 3 stars because we only tried the heat up slices. The ingredients were good but it had been sitting a little too long. We will definately come back for a fresh one. Nice staff and a cute rustic beachy place.

    (3)
  • Jade C.

Sadly it's 3 stars because the people here just have the most miserable faces. They have a good pizza selection, large rectangle pieces that they technically reheat after you pick, which is fine with me because they still taste good. The place is very open plan but appears dirty, floors and tables could do with a clean. Over all the atmosphere is so dead, actually the staff look like someone just died and the country music in the background doesn't help.

    (3)
  • Scott S.

Wow. I've been in Florida 26 years and have been searching for the best pizza. This is eat. You can taste the quality ingredients with each bite. The crust is fantastic; sauce is amazing; cheese is unbelievable. The toppings are fresh and plentiful. I live about 25-30 minutes away. I will go out of my way to come back here. It's that good.

    (5)
  • Cathy B.

As someone visiting a tourist town, i was expecting the worst of the worst. Coming in with these expectations, I was very pleasantly surprised by Pizza Rustica. Served by the "slice" (really, a very large square of sheet pizza), and you can choose from among at least a dozen different types of pizza. The pizza is already cooked; just needs to be re-heated. So if your expectations are for something filling, fast, and cheap while you're visiting a tourist trap, this is a solid choice. Service was surprisingly friendly.

  • Beej D.

Awesome pizza made fresh all day and night long. Cool employees. I had the 4 Pigs but it's like Baskin Robbins: lots of selections. Try this place out. Great beer selection. Inside and Outside seating.

  • Sarah S.

Once again... the Bianca hit the spot. This time, the slice was perfect. I was lucky to walk in just as the fresh pan was being made- the slice was topped with cheese and baked to perfection. The crust was a crispy golden brown, and the pizza itself was soft and so full of flavor. I could eat this pizza every day for the rest of my life! OH! Can't forget the chocolate pizza either. A delicious combination of pizza crust, sugar and chocolate. Absolutely delicious and a great way to end any meal. If you're looking for great food almost any time of the day or night, make sure to stop in here. Great location & amazing pizza.

    Best Pizza in Delray Beach!

  • J. K.

Open late for pizza one block from beach. So many types of pizza to choose from .We had barbecue chicken and tomato basil(yum).Someone was having cajun shrimp said it was real good. This is big slices they cut it in fours. No beer or wine took a menu in case we want a pie delivered.Dining inside and tables on sidewalkm.

    (4)
  • Devyn K.

this places the best- they're open till 2am, they have the best pizza choices, and one slice is only $5 and it's cut into fours so your $5 goes a long way- it's like a personal pizza almost. They have gluten free and whole wheat crust options too. I love the chicken farm and the bianca.

    (5)
  • Gabrielle S.

Friendly, efficient service. Really tasty gluten free pizza (love spinach and roasted garlic). Their regular slices are enormous. Would give 4.5 stars.

    (4)
  • Sammy G.

Maybe it's because I'm from a place that makes amazing pizza so I don't know but Florida, you are not good at making pizza. I've heard it's the water, which sounds super strange to me but nothing seems to be that good. We ordered a few pizzas and calzones. The pizza is mediocre. I enjoy a good piece of thin sliced pizza but this was just burnt and the sauce/cheese combo wasn't that great. It might be good for the people in Florida but for those of us who are from the Northeast, it's not good pizza.

    (2)
  • Alissa B.

Good selection of pizza and you can buy anything they have by the slice. The pizzas are all made and sitting out so you can see what you are getting if you've never been before. To me this is also a negative because then the pizza is not fresh. They will heat it up and they are open late which is a plus for them. Decent pizza at a decent price. If you are looking for something fresh and more typical of pizza this may not be the place to go.

    (3)
  • Julie R.

This Pizza Rustica is very close to the beach on the main street through Delray Beach. It's a great place to stop in and grab a slice of good pizza - then go back to the beach. What I like about it is that you can buy a HUGE slice - you don't have to buy the entire pie; the price is very reasonable. There is indoor and outdoor seating. It's very clean with super-friendly service. They have a lot of different pizzas to choose from. I had the Caprese pizza -- tomato sauce, mozzarella, basil and olives, on a thick crust. It was very good!

    (3)
  • Gianna A.

Fancier pizzas seem to be tastier and outstanding. The classic cheese slice and pepperoni slice however, are bland, nothing to write home about. The window does say 'Roman Style' but there is nothing 'Roman' about this type of pizza. Still it is a good spot after a day at the beach.

    (3)
  • Kris M.

Fantastic pizza. Huge slices at a very reasonable price. I advise that one slice is equivalent to two at any other eatery. The best thing is that you taste every flavor of every topping so that tells me it's fresh. Another great pizza place from owners who make me think they're from Philly

  • Ishak C.

i gave one star and i have reasons for that. Pizza tastes okay if you like thick crust. it open late that is another plus for this place and the location is great in my opinion anyway there is a big BUT. Place looks dusty, nasty, sticky and old. Pizza makers, servers and kitchen workers all with dirty hats, long beard, mustache and some of them even long hair. it is just disgusting... i dont want to go there anymore. A food business should be cleaner and workers should look more presentable in my opinion . Thank you.

Great selection of pizzas & they're open very late. I like their salad pizza, just a white pie with freshly made salad on top. They have a few locations.

Probably the best pizza place in Delray, and possibly the Palm Beach area. Tons of options, large slices for cheap, and good customer service. The only thing I didn't like was how they were out in the open for who knows how long. Still pretty darn good.

We had enough Cruise Ship food. It was time for some good pizza. Chewy on top and nice and crispy on the bottom.

This place is awesome! They have the best gluten free pizza and it is a reasonable price which is hard to find! The staff is very outgoing and friendly!

Ok pizza and open late. Went on a Friday night and it was pretty busy. Got a slice of BBQ chicken with onions and peppers, it was good. Only gripe is the lack of sauce and the fact that toppings were all bunched in the middle. $5 a slice was expensive also but also it's the only place open at 2am.

Had 2 pizzas for take out. Was not expecting anything, but was very impressed with the quality. Cheese was super good and the rest also much better than expected :-)

somehow my radar takes me to amazing pizza places. This restaurant is no exception. First time here. Was staying at the Residence Inn a couple doors down. Quaint, comfortable and every seat filled, outside too (that outdoor part wouldn't be happening in Northern VA right about now). I just wanted a slice. Cheese & tomato. Thin crust, please. When it came out, they cut it into 4 perfect squares. I loved that! Savored every bite. Hmmmm...I was still a tad hungry...i ordered another slice...i kind of had pizza remorse because it looks like i ate 8 slices but really it was only two. Owner is Henry Abadia. I think he is the unofficial mayor of Delray Beach. super nice guy. On site, always a good sign. Great staff. So...three days later, I'm working in Pompano and have to run back up to Delray Beach to see a client. It happened to be around lunchtime. My car commandeered itself to a vacant parking space directly across the street. Meant to be. Ordered another slice. This time, only one. Love this place. you will too. Oh...the cost, around $3. Leave a Lincoln; the staff deserves every bit of the tip.

I have been going to Pizza Rustica for close to 10 years. Which says a lot because I can cook well according to most people I know. I only go back to place that really impress me. So that should tell you how I feel about the food here. It's really amazing and you should give it a try!

Good pizza. Great staff. The tag team duo of Julian and Jake Lena keep the place rockin. They should own their own pizza place.

I go to Subways and get treated better than I was last night. The service was nothing. We got our own plates, knives, forks, cups. If were allowed behind the counter we could have gotten our own piazza. I have heard from so many people how great the pizza was, well I have had better many times. I would never recommend this place to my worst enemy. Sorry! but never again.

Clearly, I'm a glutton for punishment. We've been here 4 times now, and keep going back in hopes of updating to a 4 or 5 star review. Eek! I guess I really, really, really want to love this place like others do. Hubby and I popped in Friday night/early Saturday morning around 1:45am for 3 slices -- whole wheat cheese, greco romano, and 4 cheese. Our wait wasn't bad at all, and roughly 10 minutes later, we were out the door and in our car with 3 hot slices of -- whole wheat cheese, greco romano, and some kind of a mess of OLIVES! Yuck! Neither of us can stand olives, so how this big effin slice of olive pizza landed in our box, we have no idea. We just wanted the 4 cheese. Of course, we didn't notice their mistake until we were pulling into our driveway, and at 2am, it just seemed silly to go back and exchange a slice of pizza (even at the high price of $5.25/slice). So, the dogs got to indulge. We've tried it 4 times now, and each time has been eventful in some way. It's JUST pizza, kids. Can't you get it right? Ever? *sigh* Will we be back? Well, since we keep wanting this place to get better...we'll probably walk in and hand them our order written on a piece of paper to make sure they get it right next time. I swear the pizza gods want me to have a crappy experience every time I go here. I just don't get it.

This place serves specialty square slices at above NYC prices. It's all very odd to me. BBQ chicken slice was recommended to me by the girl behind the counter. It tasted like BBQ chicken. Sausage, pepperoni, peppers and onions slice looked good, tasted alright. What I'm getting at is that it's average. Very average. At $5 a slice, it's not a cheap quick-fix snack, and at $10 for two slices, it falls short of a fulfilling meal-priced snack.

A great place to get a quality piece of pizza right before or after heading to the beach. Open till 3 AM with a good staff, the one thing that I love about spending a day in Delray is this place.

Very large varieties of pizzas and they all taste good. Should definitely try this place. And the timings really works for me weekends till 3AM :p

It's been a long night. You've been all over Atlantic Ave and it's side streets. You've had beers and cocktails galore and your stomach is begging you for something a little more solid. When I am in this situation there are only ever 4 things that calm this craving. Tacos from a truck on Lake Worth Rd, breakfast from a diner, 2 large fries from McDonalds (hey it's a guilty pleasure) or good ol' pizza. If you are walking around Atlantic Ave chances are you know of many pizza joints. You have Mellow Mushroom, Rotelli, Anthony's Coal Fired and they are all good for what they are. But when I have coated my stomach with a few IPAs too many there is only one pizza place in Delray that I turn to. Head over the bridge and go towards the beach and you will hit Pizza Rustica. Nestled into a small strip next to Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream this is a true pizzeria. On display are dozens of options that you can choose from. My go to is the Spicy Pigs with capicola, hot Italian sausage, peppercini and red peppers. The massive slice is warmed to perfection and sliced up to make it easy for consumption. The crust is nice and thin (despite what a couple of my friends seem to think). Any of these huge slices will set you back anywhere between $3.50 and $5.50, a deal if you ask me based on the size and just overall quality of pizza you are getting. Service is quite fast even during the busy nights. This is a pizza joint that the real locals know about. If you are going out for dinner then try the ones I mentioned before. If you want a real slice of delicious pizza to help bring your drunken mind back to reality then go to Pizza Rustica.

Delicious pizza (with great variety) for such an affordable price! Close to the beach, you can buy by the slice, you can buy by the pie, local feeling and most of all...DELICIOUS. Crispy, satisfying but not too oily. Lovely! $4-5 a huge slice!

  • Aubrey M.

I've been going here since I was 14. The ambiance is chill and beachy, it's cheap, and it's good. If you're just looking for a quick bite, Rustica is the place to go. My favorite is the Greco Romana. Most of them are good, and around $5. Worth a try if you're coming back from a nice day at the beach!

The best ******* pizza in Florida. If your a tourist looking for a a local spot that u would write home about or just anybody looking for a great square of pizza that is guaranteed to hit the spot (and every taste bud) (#pizza orgasm) you have to go to Pizza Rustica! Not to mention the guys that work there and the owner are great people and perfectly complement the food. therefor, your experience is guaranteed to not only include an amazing pizza but a great experience!! (Year 2020 pizza rustica taking over Mexico!?!?)

Generally when the sidewalks are all closed up in south florida past 10, this place continues to jam. Haven't had a pizza I did not like. But what I really makes me come here is the S'mores pie which is a must. The only thing that creeps me out is the old guy that works there that has obvious mental problems but who cares.

While this is a convenient pizza shop right on Atlantic and right next door to Ben & Jerry's, it is a okay place with no atmosphere since it can be slightly cramped inside. But it is right about 10 steps away from the beach for you to grab something quick after a long day in the sun. They have a huge variety of pizza toppings all ready for you to choose from, each slice is about $5 bucks. They are already cooked and on display. Big 12" rectangle squared slices and they hand it to you on a floppy paper plate. But before they do.... they reheat it in the microwave, making the crust somewhat chewy. So it's not necessarily fresh like you would with Papa John's and what not. But whatever. They also have bottled water, soda, and bottled beer. It's still a good spot to grab something to share with a friend or a little one or when you're really drunk from clubbing down Atlantic as they're open til late. The hours are: Sun - Thurs 11am - 2:30am Fri - Sat 11am - 3am And they do deliver, except it is a very limited delivery area. Sun - Thurs 11am - Midnight Fri - Sat 11am-1am

Well made pizza is hard to find in FL. Pizza Rustica is the place to go for a variety of delicious pies.

  • Guil M.

They're open later than most, if not all, places in the area so they've got that going for them.. other than that, it's just another Pizza Rustica- kind of pricey for what you get, which is not the best ingredients/quality. There's something about re-heating pre-made pizza sitting on the counter that just throws me off completely! But when you're hungry after a night on the Ave, it might sound a little more appetizing. Definitely not the place to come for a normal dinner/lunch, though.

It's all good here. What ever your persuasion is. Chicken, pork beef and cheese it's all good.

They are open late and their hot sauce is killer. Remember how you felt during those really good scenes in Amelie? How you felt like you wanted to help people and that true love is finally within your grasp? That's how I feel every time I consume this hot sauce on pizza. every. damn. time.

Let me preface this with I don't like NY style pizza. I was born and raised in Chicago so my pizza preferences tend to lean that way. Anyways, the crust was super thin, pizza had a lot of sauce, and they put kalamata olives when I asked for black olives. Going back, I see that black olives are not an option but they should have told me that on the phone when I placed my order. Needless to say, I did not like the pizza.

By far the best pizza in town! Especially at that 3am munchies time.. Pizza rustica is still open!

This is hands down my favorite pizza place in Delray! I'm a night owl so it's a definitely plus that they're open until 2:30 am everyday, and 3:00 am Friday/Saturday. I've tried numerous different slices, and none have disappointed me whatsoever. The best part you ask? How about a Chocolate or a S'mores Pizza for dessert! Oh, and if you're in the mood for a salad, they'll gladly make one. This place has a great staff too, filled with personable and fun to talk to people. Can't wait for my next visit!

Good pizza, open late, couldn't ask for more. It's not New York pizza, but It works for South Florida. Slices are large!

I find each of these locations to be pretty consistent. They all offer decent pizza for a good price. And I love the fact that you've got a wide variety available by the slice. And the health conscious can have a salad.

  • E K.

Really delicious pizza, BBQ chicken, my favorite, many selections, fast service, fun staff, what else could you ask for? If you don't have one of the two delicious dessert pizzas, Ben and Jerry's is right next door.

I love the quattro formaggio, Asiago, Swiss, Soft Blue Cheese and Mozzarella with 2 kinds of olives and plum tomatoes. The slices are a bit expensive but no matter the taste is awesome!

I'm pretty sure this place is amazing. It's open until 2 AM, and I crave their pizza, even up in Boston. Growing up in the Delray area, I ALWAYS manage to run into somebody here I know, whether it's somebody from my high school with the late-night munchies, or a family from my middle school in the middle of the day. My favorite is definitely the rustica pizza, and I also used to love the chocolate pizza. After paying my hometown a visit, my friends and I came over here late at night. At first I was sad, because I didn't think that I'd be able to eat my favorite pizza anymore, since I've become vegan since my high school days, but they actually made a rustica special with no cheese for my vegan friend and me. It was amazing! Maybe not quite as good as the original, but it definitely hit the spot.

Serving up big squares of pizza for a few dollars. Tons of choices, but the Hawaiian is my personal fav.

So this place is right next to the hotel we were at and we were starving for late night bite...From the outside , the place appears as a full on dive with zero focus on decor... Once you step in this store front you get a slight hint that it may be ok...What a surprise! This place really throws down some great pizza with like 15 different slice options and it's cheap. The rectangular slices are so big they cut into quarters. They also have an awesome homemade hot sauce. I like this place, but no Beer?

  • Karina K.

Pizza Rustica on Atlantic Avenue is always open to 2am, it's a great place to stop by and grab a bite to eat. Their dough is made fresh every day and the pizzas are topped with great traditional and non-traditional toppings. Their slices range from $3.50 to $5.00 each and they're pretty large. They always cut their slices for their customers into fourths, for easier nommings. Their salad pizza is pretty awesome, though you need to eat it before the heat of the pizza underneath wilts the salad.

I'd only eat here past 1am when nothing else is open and you need to sober up.

Great pizza. great variety of toppings for the adventurous types. great hours, for those of us who get peckish late at night. the style of ordering at the counter gets a little clusterf***d when it gets busy, but if you're just patient, you'll get your food. and it will be tasty. also, the nutella pizza is the bomb.

  • Dan O.

This little place serves up big, rectangular slices of pizza greatness. There are lots of specialty topping combinations to choose from, and I've yet to be disappointed by any of them. Just order what looks good to you, and it most likely will be. The hot sauce they make and keep hidden behind the counter is a must, so be sure to ask them for some. Pour it right on the pizza and experience the flavor explosion. This is a really great place that's made even better by the fact that it's open quite late.

Got the supreme and chicken barbecue. Nice little pizzeria but nothing special

Sicilian style by the slice or buy the whole pizza. Great topping and pizza is made up prior so you're on your way in 10 minutes of placing your order. Eat in, sidewalk dine, or take out. Salads and others not bad either. It does get busy, especially on the avenue around lunch time, but things move right along and it's worth the wait

this place is great !!! HUGE unique slices i just had a spinach/alfredo sauce/fresh tomato/mozarella combination the other day - DELICIOUS!!! you won't find another pizza shop with these kind of flavor combinations - be sure to give it a try next time you're out on atlantic ave - just follow towards the beach and there they are on the N side of the street open late - great casual atmosphere - great one-of-a-kind pizzas don't miss =)
